Job Title: Business Analyst ( BFSI Domain)

Experience: 6 to 9 years
Location: Chennai(only)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in the Indian insurance value chain, including claims, underwriting, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Agile methodologies, SDLC processes, and exposure to core insurance systems and digital transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and document business requirements for insurance products and processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Work on core system transformation and digital platform modernization initiatives.
• Bridge business and technical teams by understanding data models, APIs, and workflows.
• Support automation, AI, and data-driven implementations in insurance projects.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and ensure adherence to SDLC best practices.

Domain Expertise

• Strong understanding of Indian insurance value chain product setup, underwriting, claims, and regulatory requirements.
• In-depth knowledge of claims processes.
• Exposure to policy administration platforms, core insurance systems, and digital front-end solutions.

Agile & SDLC Expertise

• Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and end-to-end SDLC.
• Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps.

Technical & Analytical Acumen

• Ability to interpret data models, integrations, APIs, and workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to recommend feasible, value-driven solutions.
• Experience in global delivery models and working with multi-location teams.

Preferred Experience

• Core system transformation or digital platform modernization projects in insurance.
• Exposure to automation, AI, or data-driven insurance product implementations.
